1.  Unpack book bag and see if you have any signed papers for Mrs. Gibson.

4.  Sit quietly if you do not have any work to complete.

Gibson Whole Group 7:45 - 9:10

**SSR (some kids will take another spelling test) 1.  Think, pair, share - what makes a good friend?
2.   Mrs. Gibson will write these on the board.
3.  We will create a "recipe" to show what it means to be a good friend (character traits).
*   You will share these with your table.
4.  Mrs. Gibson will read "Enemy Pie".
5.  You will work on the carpet with your clipboard and write the problem (conflict) and the resolution (solution).
6.   If time allows, you will complete a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast yourself with a friend (Mrs. Gibson will pick your partner).

Gibson Small Group 9:55 - 11:15

1.  Discuss character traits - do we know any character traits about the Greggs, the girl, or the Ducks?
2.  Review comprehension questions from yesterday.
3.  You will complete a picture sort in your blue notebook to summarize what we have read so far.
4.  Mrs. Gibson will read pages 22 - 43.
5.  Do we know anymore physical or character traits? If so, begin filling out chart.
6.  You will pick one character from the book and illustrate how a character showed a particular character trait.
7.  If time allows, students will answer comprehension questions.
